Taylor entered the matchup needing 78 rushing yards to take over the record. He finished with 95 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries, pushing his career total in international games to 408 rushing yards.
Taylor also continued building an impressive persona overseas. His first 5-yard touchdown against Washington was his fifth rushing score outside the United States, already an NFL record. He later added an extra 5-yard score, notching his sixth international rushing touchdown.
Much of Taylor’s international production came in Berlin last season, when he erupted for 244 rushing yards against the Atlanta Falcons, an NFL single-game international record.
Sunday’s performance helped Indianapolis improve to 2-2 and gave the Colts their third consecutive international victory after previous wins in Frankfurt and Berlin.
