All-Pro Denver Broncos cornerback Patrick Surtain II left Sunday’s game against the San Francisco 49ers after appearing to sustain a non-contact injury to his leg.
The injury took place late in the first half on a pass play. Surtain fell down without being contacted in coverage. He received treatment on the field after the play and needed the help of two medical trainers to limp off the field.

Surtain left with the trainers to Denver’s locker just before halftime. The nature of his injury and his status weren’t initially clear.
