Brian Robinson Fantasy Week 4 Start or Sit: A Top-Five Handcuff With No Standalone Role

Atlanta travels to New Orleans with Robinson 51st among running backs in PFN’s Week 4 rankings after a second straight good showing. As the RB2 he has 101 yards on 21 carries over the past two weeks, and I buy the idea that he is the updated version of Tyler Allgeier, able to hold down the offense if asked. He just is not going to be asked barring an injury to Bijan Robinson, which makes this a hold and not a start.

Should You Start or Sit Brian Robinson in Week 4?

Robinson looked good for a second straight week, and I buy the idea that he’s just the updated version of Tyler Allgeier in that he can hold down the offense if he’s asked to.

He’s just not going to be asked to do more barring an injury to Bijan Robinson.

As the RB2, he’s picked up 101 yards on 21 carries over the past two weeks, running with a level of confidence that we like to see. That’s nice confidence to have in your back pocket, but I feel pretty good about saying that this is an average team and that they lose equity when anyone not named Bijan handles a rushing attempt.

Robinson is a top-five handcuff and that’s enough to keep him rostered in most formats, but there’s no path to him earning a meaningful role with how this offense is structured around their two star players.
