Watchin’ Texas slog
All of these batters start off 0 and 1
Readin’ LSB
Wantin’ a ribbie
Thinking ‘bout when the Rangers were fun
Wastin’ away again in .500-ville
Searchin’ for my lost shaker of salt
Some people claim that its the Astros to blame
But I know its nobody’s fault
Don’t know the reason
I watched them all season
Nothin’ to show but this sense of despair
From runners being stranded
Leaving bats empty-handed
Thinking, why do I even care?
Wastin’ away again in .500-ville
Searchin’ for my lost shaker of salt
Some people claim that its the Astros to blame
Now I think, hell, its could be their fault
Smith had meningitis
Corey might have arthritis
Jack Leiter got hurt by backing up home
Langford’s forearm strain
Causing him much pain
When a breakout from him would help me hang on
Wastin’ away again in .500-ville
Searchin’ for my lost shaker of salt
Some people claim that its the Astros to blame
But I know its their own damn fault
Yes and…
Some people claim that its the Astros to blame
And I know, its their own damn fault…
