Tucker Kraft calls out Green Bay Packers fans after Lambeau Field turns hostile

Lambeau Field has long been known as a difficult place for visiting teams, but the atmosphere changed dramatically during the Green Bay Packers’ home opener. Matt LaFleur’s men struggled throughout their 35-14 loss to the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday night, and the frustration from the home crowd became impossible to ignore as loud boos greeted the offense during its struggles.

Tucker Kraft openly addressed the frustration from Green Bay’s home crowd after the loss, making it clear that the constant boos did not sit well with him. The Packers tight end shared his thoughts with reporters following the game.

It’s pretty disappointing, especially for a home opener. It’s pretty disappointing. It’s not going to help us win. Like I don’t know what people think that’s going to rally us or something like that,” Kraft remarked via The Athletic’s Matt Schneidman.
“But that’s — we’re grown men. We’re mentally strong enough, capable enough to get back on the field and play ball. But it’d probably much easier with the 70,000 people behind us rather than opposing us.”

Green Bay enters the next stretch at 1-2 with plenty to address after struggles on offense and defense. Kraft and the rest of the Packers will need to respond with stronger performances if they hope to change the mood at Lambeau Field and give their fans something positive to cheer about.
