The Titans' scouts have been busy on the pro day circuit as the draft quickly approaches, but have yet to be connected to one of the top center prospects. But it is clear they are turning over every stone, and took a closer look at at least one center prospect: James Brockermeyer.

Late Saturday night, Turron Davenport took to X (formerly Twitter) to report that Tennessee conducted a Top 30 visit with the Miami prospect at some point earlier in the pre-draft process.

At 6-foot-3, 297 pounds, Brockermeyer lacks the prototype size for the center position, but makes up for that with some solid technique and high football intelligence. A student of the game with NFL bloodlines, he does flash some abilities as a downhill blocker, but his lack of length and overall athleticism could keep him locked into the center position.

Brockermeyer did shine at the Senior Bowl, but the lack of position flexibility could hurt his staying power in the NFL.
