Brewers rally tickets sell out fast as resale prices rise to $130 or more

Stop me if you've heard this before: A Milwaukee Brewers ticketed event sold out lightning fast, and the resale market immediately put up the same tickets for many times the price.

The Brewers' World Series title rally at Henry Maier Festival Park started at $26 for lawn seats. But all tickets sold out shortly after sales opened Thursday afternoon, Oct. 29, and those lawn seats started going for almost $130 on StubHub soon after.

Resale tickets at the front of the amphitheater were listed for $250 or more on StubHub as of 2:30 p.m. The highest-priced ticket was $925 on StubHub, though those outlier prices don't typically stick around.

The Milwaukee Brewers' rally information page indicates amphitheater tickets were limited to two per email address.

A paid ticket won't be required to enter the park, but the site also noted that not all fans will be let in if capacity is reached.

It's an all-too-familiar story of Brewers fans in Milwaukee being priced out of local events. Watch parties for away games at American Family Field started at $15 but reached upwards of $139 at the cheapest for Game 5 resale audiences.

All eleven stages will be in use for the rally, but only fans with paid tickets will get to enter the main amphitheater. Other stages will broadcast a live feed of the rally happening on the stage, scheduled to begin shortly before noon Friday.
