Westlake 43, Cedar Valley 6Ashton Taylor’s three touchdowns propelled Westlake (7-2) to a commanding 43-6 victory over Cedar Valley (1-8) in their Region 2 matchup. Taylor’s scoring began with a 3-yard pass from Silas Taumoepeau at 6:22 in the first quarter. Cedar Valley found their only points with a 1-yard run by McCrae Miles in the second quarter. Westlake extended their lead further with Slone Sua’s 95-yard interception return and Taylor’s 1-yard run in the third quarter. Spencer Dickerson and a 32-yard pass from Taumoepeau to Sua sealed the win in the fourth quarter for the Thunder.
Herriman 23, Copper Hills 20Max Stevens secured the victory for Herriman (7-2) with a 16-yard touchdown run early in the fourth quarter, lifting the Mustangs to a 23-20 win over Region 2 rival Copper Hills (6-3). Copper Hills led 13-7 at halftime, thanks to Ishmael Duffus’ 65-yard touchdown catch and two field goals by Lincoln Anderson. However, Herriman rallied in the second and third quarters to take the lead. Ethan Hill’s 20-yard touchdown run brought Copper Hills within three points late in the game, but the Grizzlies couldn’t complete the comeback.

Mountain Ridge 52, Bingham 7Mountain Ridge Sentinels (9-0) overwhelmed the Bingham Miners (3-6) in a dominant 52-7 victory in a Region 2 matchup. Jaxon Hunt starred for Mountain Ridge, throwing four touchdown passes, including a 51-yard strike to Xander Thayer with 3:45 left in the first quarter for a 10-0 lead. Thayer caught three touchdowns in total, contributing significantly to the Sentinels’ first-half 38-7 advantage. Tyson Dunn added two rushing touchdowns, with a notable 51-yard run at 6:14 of the second quarter. Bingham’s lone score came from a 6-yard pass to Charlie Olson late in the second quarter.
Region 4
Hunter 24, Cyprus 8Hunter’s Wolverines (3-6) secured a decisive 24-8 victory over Cyprus (2-7) in a Region 4 matchup. Akuila Gallegos kick-started the scoring with a 14-yard run in the first quarter and later added a 43-yard touchdown run to give Hunter the lead for good, scoring with 11:17 left in the second quarter. Cyprus’s only response came swiftly in the first quarter on a 31-yard pass from Izaiah Fabela to Rushton Langford. Cedar City responded quickly, as Beckett Wood returned a kickoff 97 yards for a touchdown with 4:37 remaining, narrowing the gap. However, Juab’s defense held firm to secure the win. Manti 41, Carbon 16Ben Taulapapa scored four touchdowns for the Templars as Manti (2-7) defeated Carbon (1-8) 41-16 in a 3A South game. Taulapapa’s performance included a pair of touchdown runs and a 24-yard touchdown reception, with all three scores coming in the first half to help Manti secure a commanding 28-10 lead at halftime. Kingston Wright contributed to Manti’s dominance with two touchdown passes, including an early 11-yard pass to Kooper Lund with 9:49 left in the first quarter. Carbon’s Kayden Dunn connected with Tayger Timothy and Brodee Collins for Carbon’s lone touchdown passes.
Richfield 38, Canyon View 16Trey Yardley led Richfield (7-2) past Canyon View (6-3) in a 3A South showdown, scoring three touchdowns, including a 41-yard run with 8:10 left in the fourth quarter. Richfield pulled away early, taking a 17-3 lead into halftime following Ngalu Taufatofua’s 2-yard touchdown run and Sam Gonzolez’s 36-yard field goal. The Wildcats extended their advantage in the third quarter with Yardley’s 25-yard touchdown run and Taufatofua’s 1-yard touchdown reception. Canyon View’s Preston Higgins caught a 4-yard touchdown pass with 3:12 left, but the Falcons’ rally fell short, finishing with a 38-16 loss.

South Summit 36, Judge Memorial 12Ian Mair’s dual threat performance led South Summit (5-4) to a commanding 36-12 victory over Judge Memorial (1-7) in a 2A North game. Mair opened scoring with a 3-yard run with 6:24 left in the first quarter and later connected on two touchdown passes, including a 44-yard strike to Cash Rockhill and a 22-yard pass to Brody Larsen. South Summit’s defense held Judge Memorial scoreless in the first half and limited them to just 12 points overall. Brody Larsen also contributed with a 22-yard touchdown catch in the fourth quarter.
Summit Academy 51, Providence Hall 6Beckham Meredith’s standout performance propelled Summit Academy (6-3) to a dominant 51-6 victory over Providence Hall (2-7) in a 2A North game. Meredith caught two touchdown passes, including a 57-yarder from Rigby Young with 8:35 left in the third quarter that helped extend the Bears’ lead. Summit Academy jumped out to an early lead, scoring 22 points in the first quarter alone and maintaining control throughout the game. Providence Hall’s lone score came on a 90-yard kick return by Gary Grayson with 10 seconds left in the third quarter. Summit Academy’s defense held strong, preventing any offensive points from the Patriots.

San Juan 55, Emery 7Beau Yeomans led San Juan (who 8-1) to a decisive 55-7 victory over Emery (2-7) in a 2A South matchup. Yeomans threw five touchdown passes, including a 25-yarder to Quincy Singer and a 26-yarder to Randall Black in the first quarter, followed by a 41-yard strike to Andrew Nielson as time expired in the same quarter. Brigg Palmer added rushing touchdowns of 90 and 50 yards. Miken Keith’s 90-yard kick return in the third quarter sealed the blowout. Emery’s sole score came from Ajay Thomas with a 5-yard run in the third quarter.

North Summit 17, Millard 14Tayton Pace led North Summit (6-3) to a come-from-behind victory against Millard (4-5) by connecting on two fourth-quarter touchdown passes in their 1A North matchup. The first was a 29-yard strike to Zach Ernst with 7:38 remaining, bringing the Braves within striking distance. Then, with 1:30 left in the game, Pace found Cru Richins for an 18-yard score, followed by a successful pass to Zach Ernst for the two-point conversion, securing the 17-14 win. Millard had taken a 14-3 lead earlier, with a second-quarter touchdown pass and a third-quarter rushing score.
Gunnison Valley 48, North Sevier 0Mccoy Coates ran for three touchdowns as the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs (5-4) crushed the North Sevier Wolves (2-7) 48-0 in a 1A North game. Coates opened the scoring with a 40-yard run at 7:31 of the first quarter and added a 6-yard touchdown run early in the second quarter. Kingston Harwood’s 3-yard run and Johnny Jessop’s 67-yard punt return helped the Flyers jump to a 21-0 lead in the first quarter. Brygunn Soderquist’s 17-yard interception return in the second quarter widened the gap. The Flyers’ defense stifled Cottonwood (record unknown), holding them scoreless throughout the game.

Desert Hills rallied in the third quarter with a 17-yard touchdown pass from Deacon Virgin to Seth Brown, cutting the deficit to 13-14. However, Faith Lutheran secured the win with a late go-ahead score of 10 points in the fourth quarter, holding off Desert Hills’ late attempt, which included a 3-yard touchdown run by Tieg Andersen with 3:01 left.
