The Raiders played host to the Chiefs on Sunday in what was expected to be, and indeed was, a close game.
When all was said and done, Andy Reid was able to continue his impressive record at the Allegiant Stadium, guiding his team to a 30-27 win.
The Raiders, in turn, lost their perfect record and the Chiefs have now moved clear in the AFC West.
Now, Las Vegas Raiders fan Lillard has floated the idea that the Raiders should be looking to bring George Pickens in.
Las Vegas Raiders told to get George Pickens
Taking to X/Twitter, he simply wrote: “Just go get Pickens…” followed by a shrugging emoji.
In 2026 so far, Pickens has 18 receptions for 225 receiving yards and 0 touchdowns across four games.
He was also a key player last season, notching 93 receptions for 1,429 yards and nine touchdowns, which were personal career highs.
But for now, the Raiders must turn their attention to the New England Patriots, who they face next as they aim to bounce back from the weekend’s defeat.
The Patriots are 2-2 in 2026/27 heading into the next round of games, most recently picking up a 29-26 win over the Buffalo Bills.
Winning that game could be especially important for the Raiders in their bid to finish top of the AFC West as the Chiefs’ next outing is against the Los Angeles Chargers, who have yet to win a game this season.
