Curtis did practice Oct. 6, Clark Lea said.

Jaylin Lackey and Jamison Curtis, who are both dealing with soft-tissue injuries, are still out, while freshman offensive lineman Mitchell Smith is doubtful.

Vanderbilt (3-2, 0-2 SEC) is set to take on Ole Miss (3-1, 1-1) at FirstBank Stadium on Oct. 17 (2:30 p.m. CT, ESPN).
