Chicago Bears fans will probably tell you they’re the best fans in the world, and some of the players could say the same. The one person they probably didn’t expect to say that was Aaron Rodgers, where the hate runs deep between the quarterback and their fans. When Rodgers was on the Green Bay Packers, he gave the Bears and the fans a hard time every time they played.

Now with Rodgers playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers and close to retirement, he’s giving the Bears their props.

“I love Chicago fans. I know they hate me. Even when I told them I own them. It was because everyone in the front row was flipping me off. They are GREAT sports fans,” Rodgers said on the Not Just Football podcast.

Rodgers and the Packers would have their way with the Bears more times than not, and their fans hated it. Now, they don’t have to worry about Rodgers, but they have to deal with Jordan Love.

That hasn’t been the hardest thing for the Bears over the years, and they could say that they have the advantage over the Packers now. The last time the two teams played was in the Wild Card Round of the playoffs, and the Bears walked away with the win.

That win meant a lot to the Bears, not only because they advanced to the next round, but they did it by beating their top rival. There’s no doubt that the Packers are going to try to get revenge this season, and they have two chances to do so.
