The Florida State Seminoles are certainly trying to finish their 2027 recruiting class strong, but the 2028 class is also one that they're diligently working on. On Tuesday night, the Seminoles offered four-star athlete prospect Kamieon Compton-Nero out of Oklahoma.

"Blessed for the unexpected call and conversation with @evancooper2 who gave me an offer to play ball for the Florida State Seminoles!," Compton-Nero announced on social media.

The 6-foot-3, 185-pounder has some notable offers on the table. He has been extended scholarships from the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Oregon Ducks, Florida Gators, Oklahoma Sooners, Texas A&M Aggies, SMU Mustangs, Michigan Wolverines, and others.

Compton-Nero is the No. 48 player nationally and the No. 1 athlete recruit per the 247Sports composite rankings. He's also listed as the No. 1 prospect in the state of Oklahoma.

He's coming off an unbelievable sophomore year at Rejoice Christian High School. He racked up 2,584 passing yards and 38 touchdowns plus 751 rushing yards and eight scores playing the quarterback position. As a defensive back, Compton-Nero produced 95 tackles and five interceptions with three touchdown returns. As a junior, he'll play at Owasso High School.

FSU's next order of business is to get Compton-Nero on campus for the first time. Preferably sometime this season for a gameday visit.
