DeShaun Watson may have won the starting role as the quarterback for the Cleveland Browns, but he is failing to impress during practice.
A long season could lie ahead for the Browns as their fans have been left far from impressed with the debacle at QB this offseason.

Todd Monken has named Watson as his QB1 following the battle with Shedeur Sanders for the starting role.
It is a decision that has not gone down well among Browns fans and others across the entire league, given Watson’s controversial past.
To rub salt into the wound, Watson is failing to prove himself in some of the clips emerging from practice at the Browns’ facility.

There were some positive signs shown from Sanders when he was provided the opportunity to start at quarterback last season.
However, Monken has now demoted the 2025 draft pick to QB2 behind Watson, whose reputation has been left in tatters over recent years.
Footage of Watson overthrowing a wide open receiver in practice has naturally not gone down well among fans following his QB1 announcement.
‘The grass was wide open and he still overthrew it,’ one fan jokingly replied to the footage.
Another fan added: ‘They should make him go pick that ball up’.
Watson has not played a full season as a QB1 since 2020 when he was playing for the Houston Texans.
Throwing him in as the starter six years on from that will mark a big gamble for the Browns, with two hungry young quarterbacks also competing for the spot.
One fan even admitted they enjoyed seeing Watson struggle: ‘Brings a smile to my face’.
The 2024 season was the last time Watson took to the field, with five touchdowns and three interceptions thrown.
Watson is clearly not the fans’ choice in Cleveland: ‘This dude gets worse and worse everyday’.
Another said: ‘We are actually so cooked’.
