Iowa women's basketball recently welcomed 2028 forward Bridget Fitzgerald to Iowa City for an unofficial visit. The Hawkeyesoffered Fitzgerald back in late April.

The 6-foot-2, St. Louis, Mo., product stars for Incarnate Word Academy, where she is ranked as the No. 2 player and No. 1 forward in the Show-Me State's 2028 class, per Prep Girls Hoops.

Fitzgerald is also a member of Phee Elite.

The Hawkeyes extended an offer to Fitzgerald on April 29, 2026, which has put Iowa in a cluster of other rivaling suitors such as Alabama, Arkansas, New Mexico, Saint Louis, Illinois-Chicago, Southeast Missouri State, Missouri, Wake Forest, Oklahoma State, Arizona, Iowa State, Kansas State, Georgia Tech, and Big Ten foes Michigan, Northwestern, Wisconsin, and Illinois

Fitzgerald has also received offers from programs such as Arkansas, Michigan, Illinois, Alabama, Kansas State and Iowa State.
