Panthers QB Bryce Young puts in 'spectacular' performance at training camp on Wednesday
· Yahoo Sports
As the Carolina Panthers continue to get hammered by injuries at training camp, the development of starting quarterback Bryce Young becomes more and more important for the team's outlook this season.
On Wednesday, it was rookie wide receiver Chris Brazzell II who was carted off with a knee injury—just a day after tight end Mitchell Evans was wheeled away with an ankle sprain, which followed last week's brutal season-ending ACL tear to outside linebacker Nic Scourton.

At the very least this morning, Young put in another strong session. His "spectacular day," as described by an inquiring reporter, was a topic of conversation for head coach Dave Canales after the outing.
"Bryce is continuing to take the next steps," Canales stated. "What I see from Bryce, right now, is ownership and mastery of the concepts. And now, I just see the timing, the rhythm and just the me-to-you factor with his guys.
"Watching him throw anticipatory balls to T-Mac [Tetairoa McMillan], to Jalen [Coker], to David Moore . . . so, I just see his level of comfort really showing up with the guys."
Young's performance also included a 30-yard (or so) touchdown throw to Xavier Legette as well as a 20-yard (or so) fade into the corner of the end zone for Brycen Tremayne.
