A post by @hlaoivan that stated “53 dating le [a] 1991!! Yeah, no, you [you’re] only a pedophile when you [you’re] broke” sparked a wave of reactions online.

Thando caught wind of this online frenzy and quickly clapped back at a few trolls. In response to @hlaoivan, she corrected him, stating that she was actually older than the troll had thought.

The second troll Thando addressed was also judging the couple’s age difference, pointing out there was an 18-year gap between them.

FANS DEFEND THANDO AND ROBERT’S AGE GAP DYNAMIC

Fans quickly expressed their disagreement with the topic at hand stating that Thando can date whoever she prefers as an adult.
