Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was in attendance on Sunday at Coca-Cola Coliseum when Paige Bueckers and Dallas Wings faced the Toronto Tempo. The two-time NBA MVP linked up with the WNBA star guard, dapping it up and posing for a photo.
Their interaction was brief but drew a lot of attention online. The Wings posted the moment on X and received a lot of fan reaction, mostly trolling Bueckers and Gilgeous-Alexander.

Bueckers was on fire during Dallas’ 89-76 victory. The reigning Rookie of the Year recorded 22 points on 9-for-16 shooting, along with three rebounds and seven assists. Azzi Fudd backed her with 17 points and three rebounds, while Jessica Shepard contributed a 14-point, 15-rebound double-double.
Next up for Buckers and the Wings is a clash against the New York Liberty on Tuesday. They are on a two-game winning streak after defeating the Connecticut Sun in their previous matchup. The 6-foot-guard will continue to be relied upon heavily as Dallas looks to further improve on its 13-8 record.
