Over the last few days, there have been reports that the Celtics have made an offer to the Bucks for Antetokounmpo. Some reports suggest that the Celtics will need to get a third team involved to take Jaylen Brown in any deal for Antetokounmpo. Of course, nothing has happened yet, but it feels like a trade is coming soon.
Whether Antetokounmpo ends up with the Celtics is up in the air, but NBA insider Jake Fischer does not seem to think that trade talks between Boston and Milwaukee are at a point indicative of an incoming trade. He specifically noted that he does not think there are any three-team trade talks at this point.
"I don't think there is any three-team conversation between Boston and Milwaukee right now because I don't think there's even really significant Milwaukee and Boston talks at this juncture," Fischer said on a livestream for Bleacher Report on Tuesday.
Back in May, Bucks co-owner Jimmy Haslam noted that getting Antetokounmpo's situation sorted out before the NBA Draft would make sense. Well, the draft is a week away from Tuesday, and Celtics talks for Antetokounmpo are not significant at this point, per Fischer.
