New York Yankees superstar Aaron Judge

The New York Yankees are missing superstar slugger Aaron Judge, but manager Aaron Boone made it clear that he is confident that he will be able to return this season.

Judge is out with a stress fracture of the first rib on his right side. He hasn't played in a game since May 31 and at this point, it's unclear when the next game he plays in will be. While this is the case, Boone spoke with Jon Heyman and Joel Sherman of the New York Post and made it clear that the expectation is that he will return in 2026.

"Yes, yeah," Boone said when asked if he's confident that Judge will return this season. "And he's very confident."

Why is Boone so confident that Judge will return? He dug into that as well.

"Just the nature of the injury," Boone continued. "And hearing the doctors talk. We just haven't put a timeline on it because we don't want to do that and miss the target or make the target or, you know, anything like that. I think there's pretty strong confidence that he'll be back and fully healthy."

So, if you're a Yankees fan hoping to see Judge again this season, it certainly sounds like that is going to happen.
