The Alabama Crimson Tide won the series over the Missouri Tigers this past weekend in Columbia, two games to one.
Alabama entered the series as one of the hottest teams in all of college softball, and the Tide were able to keep things rolling against the Tigers on the road this weekend. Star pitcher Jocelyn Briski was excellent in the circle in both the series opener and on Sunday, as the Alabama ace surrendered just one earned run and three hits in seven innings pitched Friday.

Jocelyn Briski continues to dominate, throws 7 IP on Friday
Briski has been widely considered as a top pitcher in all of college softball to begin the 2026 campaign. The star flamethrower was excellent against the Tigers on Friday, as Briski dominated over seven total innings while giving up just three hits and one earned run.
Briski has been excellent on a nightly basis in 2026, as the Alabama star was elite yet again against Missouri.
Ambrey Taylor continues to heat up, records 3 RBI on Sunday
Taylor has quietly emerged as an excellent contributor for the Tide this season. The talented player drove in three RBI during Alabama’s 4-3 series clinching victory on Sunday, as Taylor hit a critical home run in the win over Missouri as well.
Taylor’s average has improved up to .387 on the year, as the star infielder has dominated to begin SEC play.
Ana Roman continues to shine at plate, hits massive home run Sunday
Roman has dominated throughout the entire first half of the 2026 campaign. The talented outfielder hit a towering home run against the Tigers in the fifth inning of Sunday’s contest, as the moonshot ultimately served as the game winning run in the 4-3 victory.
Roman will look to stay red hot throughout the remainder of SEC play, as the star player has been excellent as a member of the Crimson Tide in 2026.
Alabama will face Jacksonville State on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. CT, as the Tide will look to improve to an impressive 30-2 record on the year.
