Nick Nurse gives update on Dominick Barlow after Sixers beat Jazz
· Yahoo Sports
The Philadelphia 76ers were able to walk out of Salt Lake City on Saturday night with a 126-116 win over the Utah Jazz to go 2-1 on their 3-game road trip out West. It was a win the Sixers needed when considering how tight everything is in the East standings and Philadelphia was able to move up to No. 7 with the win.
With that being said, the Sixers did suffer another injury. Already missing Tyrese Maxey, Joel Embiid, Paul George, and Kelly Oubre Jr., they lost Dominick Barlow to a left ankle sprain in the first quarter. Luckily, guys like Jabari Walker and Trendon Watford stepped up and produced, but the Sixers need Barlow healthy as they move forward.

After the win, coach Nick Nurse discussed Barlow's injury as he gave an update. It was a small one, but an update, nonetheless.
"Sprained ankle. X-Rays negative," Nurse told reporters.
When asked a follow up of whether he knows what kind of grade it is, Nurse isn't sure on the severity.
"I do not," he said. "I don't. That's all we got so far."
Barlow is averaging 8.3 points and 4.8 rebounds on the season for the Sixers as he has been a real find for them. He was initially signed to a two-way deal before then being converted and giving the Sixers a consistent option at the power forward spot all year. Philadelphia will be looking to get him back as soon as possible out on the floor.
