You can vote for the high school athlete of the week until 3 p.m. Saturday, March 21. You don't have to be a subscriber to vote.
De Pere basketball player Will Krueger was last week’s winner, receiving 21,198 votes.
He is the third De Pere athlete to win the player of the week poll in the 2025-26 school year, following football player Cayden Cavanaugh in Week 10 and hockey player Elliana Memken in Week 21.
Bay Area Ice Bears hockey star Faye Brunke was runner-up. The Pulaski senior had 17,737 votes, while Ice Bears teammate and Bay Port sophomore Aisling Buchan was third with 2,283 votes.

Jack Bookter, De Pere basketball
The senior guard had a couple of strong sectional performances to help the Redbirds make the WIAA Division 1 state tournament.
Bookter had 22 points in a 79-64 semifinal win over Germantown and a game-high 24 points in a 97-74 title game victory over Brookfield East.
Teage Cornell, Seymour basketball
The sophomore guard helped the Thunder reach the D3 state tournament.
He had 8 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists and shot 2-for-4 in a 56-49 sectional semifinal win against Freedom.
Cornell followed with a game-high 21 points and hit five 3-pointers in the sectional championship against Appleton Xavier.
Ryan Westrich, Bonduel basketball
The senior was pivotal in the Bears reaching the D4 state tournament.
He had 27 points, 12 rebounds and shot 12-for-17 in a 73-62 sectional semifinal win over Kewaunee, handing the Storm its only loss of the season.
Westrich had 14 points, 10 rebounds, 3 blocks and shot 6-for-11 in a 78-68 sectional championship victory over Marathon.
Kaia Waldrop, Green Bay Notre Dame basketball
The senior forward ended her prep career with a double-double at the D1 state tournament, finishing with 16 points and 13 rebounds in a semifinal loss to top-ranked Wauwatosa East.
