Earnhardt Jr. Tries to Keep Interview on The Rails With Daughters Isla and Nicole

Between being a car owner, announcer, and podcaster, Dale Earnhardt Jr. wears a lot of hats in NASCAR nearly 10 years after his retirement from full-time Cup Series racing.

When sitting down for an interview with SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, Earnhardt Jr. had to wear another hat.

The dad hat.

From the time Earnhardt Jr. and his daughters sat down in a room for the interview, the youngsters were giddy to have on a headset with a microphone. Like any kid would, the two giggled and smiled as they talked into the microphone.

Earnhardt Jr., who could not help but smile, tried to get his daughters to calm down.

“Do y’all want to stay in here? … OK, you have to be quiet as a mouse,” Earnhardt Jr. said.

As the interview went on, Isla and Nicole could not help themselves but talk into the microphone. Earnhardt Jr. tried to stay focused on the questions being asked but continued to crack up at how much fun his daughters were having.

“OK, all right. Let’s be quiet,” he said.

At one point, Nicole was laughing hysterically. As much as Earnhardt Jr. tried to quiet his daughters down, they had other ideas.

“Goodness gracious. You’re going to have to cut it out,” Earnhardt Jr. said.

Through it all, Earnhardt Jr.’s smile never left his face.

Justin Allgaier Won 2026 O’Reilly Auto Parts Series Championship

It was arguably a career year for Justin Allgaier in the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series. The 40-year-old out of Springfield, Illnois bagged a career-high six wins, the most in 2026, and won the regular season championship by more than 200 points.

While Allgaier failed to win a race in the Chase, the veteran driver found his way to the top of the standings when it mattered most. It marked Allgaier’s second championship in the last three seasons and the fifth championship for JR Motorsports.

Allgaier also became the first driver in JR Motorsports history to win multiple championships with the team.
