Times are tough for the Chicago Bulls. On Wednesday, they suffered a 135-105 blowout defeat to the defending champion New York Knicks. The Bulls also saw Jalen Smith go down with a left-hand injury, leaving them vulnerable at center.
However, though they lost again, Chicago still made some history. For the first time in franchise history, all 15 players scored, per K.C. Johnson of The Chicago Sports Network.
Tre Jones and Jailyn Sellers came off the bench, and each led with 14 points. Meanwhile, Matas Buzelis, who has been going through a real adjustment period, finished with 12 points and five rebounds. Norman Powell also added 12 points, but shot 3-for-12 from the field.

Josh Giddey scored 10 points and dished out six assists. Buddy Hield came away with 7 points. Noa Essengue and Isaac Okoro each finished with 6 points. Smith finished with 3 points before he was taken out, as did Dailyn Swain and Zach Collins. Leonard Miller finished with 4 points, as did Patrick Williams, who made his season debut.
Jordan Hawkins then finished the night with a basket. Meanwhile, Chicago native Jalen Brunson put on an offensive clinic with 33 points, while shooting 10-for-17 from the field.
Although the Bulls are rebuilding this season and losing by big numbers to much better opponents, there is also an undercurrent that they need to come ready to play. As a result, the Bulls are now 1-7 as they prepare to face the Philadelphia Phillies at home on Sunday.
