Rail Wheel Factory (RWF) today observed "Rashtriya Ekta Diwas" alongside the celebrated valedictory function vigilance awareness week – 2026.
As a prelude to Vigilance Awareness Week – 2026, The extensive vigilance campaign, which commenced on August 17, 2026, and is slated to run through November 16, 2026, centers on this year's pivotal theme: “PROBITY FOR PROSPERITY.”

Key Highlights of the Three-Month Vigilance Campaign:
Throughout the prelude period, RWF conducted targeted seminars, competitions, and guest lectures designed to foster integrity, transparency, and operational efficiency across its ranks and the community:
• Employee Development & Compliance:
o Rules & Administration: Interactive seminars covering Railway Servants Discipline & Appeal Rules, Leave Rules, Pass Rules, and House Rent Allowance (HRA).
o Operational Excellence: Technical sessions on Public Procurement, new features of the Government e-Marketplace (GeM), and HRMS transfer provisions.
o Core Values & Security: Insights on Ethics & Good Practices, an awareness drive on IT & Cyber Security/Hygiene, and updates on medical benefits under MOU empanelment.
• Special Guest Lecture: On October 27, 2026, a highly enlightening session was delivered by Justice Chandrashekara (Retd. Judge of the Honorable High Court of Karnataka), who shared invaluable perspectives on legal and moral rectitude.
• Youth Outreach: To instill integrity and honesty at an early stage, essay, drawing, and painting competitions were organized for children at KV RWF and nearby schools and colleges.
The valedictory function featured impactful Street Play emphasizing anti-corruption values, followed by the final Prize Distribution to the winners of the competitions.
Speaking on the occasion, Manoranjan Pradhan, General Manager of Rail Wheel Factory, emphasized that vigilance is a collective responsibilities. He stated that the quality of probity must be followed religiously by everyone across all ages to ensure national prosperity.
The function was attended by senior officers, RWF staff, and the students and teachers of KV RWF alongside various participating schools and colleges.
Observing Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Manoranjan Pradhan, General Manager/RWF, garlanded the statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Officers and staff paid floral tributes, took the Ekta Pledge, and participated in the 'Run for Unity'.
