The senior quarterback and Louisiana-Monroe commit took the record, which belonged for over two decades to Robert Lane, during a scoring drive in which he totaled his fourth touchdown of the night, a 12-yard strike to sophomore Deuntra Schneatte, in the Tigers’ District 2-4A matchup against Tioga. Robinson and Schneatte also hooked up for an 80-yard score on Neville’s first offensive play of the game.

After making back-to-back semifinals in Division I nonselect, Neville hasn’t missed a beat in its move to D-II nonselect this fall. It clinched the District 2-4A title following its 45-14 victory against Tioga on Friday, Oct. 30, at Mickey McCarty Field.

“We’ve had a lot of ups and downs with this team, but I think the thing that separates us is just our chemistry and how close we are,” Robinson said. “We really are family. We fight like brothers; we compete like brothers every day. A good or bad play, we keep level-headed; we complement each other.

"The defense is going to hold the offense accountable, and the offense is going to hold the defense accountable. (Winning district) is a super special achievement for us, and I wouldn’t have it any other way with any other team.”

Neville assistant coach Andy Robinson has never missed a high school game or practice for his oldest son. The younger Robinson, who was a freshman at St. Frederick when his father was head coach, learned plenty from Montrell Conner Jr., who later helped Ouachita win state in 2025.

Among the biggest things Robinson took away from Conner, who both went to the same elementary school, was how to carry oneself. Andy thought about all the support his son has received throughout his career, as well as the special names that have come through Neville, when he broke the record.

"Just to be around him every day, I try not to take it for granted," Andy said. "Senior night is a special night, so for him to come out and play the way that he played (Friday) is kind of reflective of who he is. He's done it against really good football teams year after year, and he's been fortunate enough to stay healthy. He's put a lot of work into that. (Parker breaking the record is) just a proud parent moment, proud coaching moment and proud Neville Tiger moment."

Schneatte had a game-high 132 receiving yards for Neville (7-1) against Tioga (6-3). Junior Jarvis Blackston (41 yards) ran for his 11th touchdown of the season. The Tiger defense has continued to force takeaways in every game this fall with three fumble recoveries against the Indians.

As Neville continues to battle for D-II nonselect's No. 1 seed, it aims on playing cleaner football when visiting Wossman for the regular season finale. Tigers coach Mike Collins feels honored to guide one of the best quarterbacks in program history in Robinson.

"There's been a lot of good (quarterbacks) here," Collins said. "I've met a lot of them that have gone on and played in college and gone on and played in the NFL. (Parker's) in pretty good company."

In addition to helping football reach back-to-back semifinals, Robinson played a key role in boys basketball's run to the quarterfinals last winter. He will continue to soak up his three years at Neville.

"There's no place like it," Robinson said. "I think this is the best school in the country. We have the best fans and alumni in the country. It's definitely surreal to go here. This whole community surrounds this team, and people that went here 50 years ago and people that went here two years ago are going to come back and support you and talk to you. Once a Tiger, always a Tiger.
