Lindsey Carl and Brandon Byrd gave the phrase "Go Birds" a whole new meaning on Monday evening as they got married during a tailgate.

The new Mr. and Mrs. Byrd tied the knot in Lot H during the "Tailgate Wedding of the Century" sponsored by Garage Beer.

Vince Rizzuto, the CEO of TrueFan Travel, told Action News, "Over the summer, we had Garage Beer reach out to us about doing a wedding, and we had our relationship with the Philly Pops. They wanted to perform at a tailgate. So, we put two and two together."

The couple says they are huge Eagles fans, who proudly display their fandom in Chicago, where they now live.

"We have a whole fan group that we found, and two really iconic bars there that we watch the Eagles every Sunday, Monday, and Thursday," Carl explained.

When they saw an ad for Garage Beer's giveaway on Instagram, they knew they were interested.

"We had to submit a 90-second video that we had to go all out for," she said.

"The main part was just 'Go Birds' because we're going to be the Byrds. That was the gist of it. And how much we love the Eagles, and that we'll drink Garage Beer for the rest of our lives," said Byrd.

The couple said they found out they were chosen about two and a half weeks ago, and they quickly began preparing for their tailgate wedding.

On Monday evening, Carl dressed in Eagles cowgirl boots and a wedding dress, while Byrd donned a green suit, Eagles socks, and a feather pinned to his jacket.

With her dad by her side, Carl walked down a green aisle to her groom.

A couple of Eagles legends also got in on the fun. Jason Kelce and Beau Allen handed out beers as they made their way down the aisle. They were joined by Phillies great Shane Victorino to help officiate the ceremony.

The Philly Pops performed before, during, and after the ceremony for family and friends of the bride and groom who came out to support them on their big night ahead of Monday Night Football.
