Here’s how much it cost you to visit the Garden Route National Park in the Western Cape from next month.

HOW MUCH IT COSTS TO ENTER THE GARDEN ROUTE NATIONAL PARK FROM 1 NOVEMBER

The Garden Route National Park s located along the southern coast of South Africa, stretching across parts of the Western Cape and Eastern Cape provinces. It is a coastal reserve well known for its indigenous forests, dramatic coastline, and the Otter Trail.

Visitors planning to visit this park will pay a new entrance fee as of Sunday, 1 November as SANParks introduces its new conservation fee for the 2026/2027 financial year. The new fee applies until 31 October 2027.

The park stretches across several sections, including Knysna, Wilderness and Tsitsikamma. Visitors pay separate conservation fees depending on the area they wish to explore.
