The Milwaukee Brewers allowed fans to purchase physical ticket stubs for Game 1 of the World Series at the American Family Field ticket office. Fans could pay $25 to print regular tickets, or $50 for a commemorative souvenir ticket, which has a special design, including the World Series 2026 logo.

Many fans, wanting to have something physical to remember the Brewers' first World Series appearance since 1982, stood in line, which caused a large traffic jam near the home-plate gate and blocked the concourse. Then, according to one fan's social media post, the Brewers stopped printing them, leaving them and many other fans empty-handed and upset.

"You couldn’t have said that to us earlier??" the fan wrote in the post.

The fan had been waiting in line for an hour, they wrote in the post, when the Brewers hung up a sign announcing they were done printing tickets "for the safety of all our fans." The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel asked the Brewers to elaborate on the safety issue, and did not immediately get a response.

The sign said fans can order commemorative tickets online. Souvenir tickets cost $50 for World Series Games 1 and 2, and $75 with a clear display case. The Brewers are also selling souvenir tickets from NLCS Games 1 and 2, which cost $20, $45 with a clear display case.

The fan wrote in the post that after the Brewers stopped printing, other fans started swearing and security needed to be called.
