Savio picked up a muscle injury before Spurs travelled to Marbella for a training camp and is expected to be sidelined for several weeks.
“Unfortunately Savio on Tuesday, before we left for Marbella, felt a muscular problem and we’ve lost him for some weeks,” De Zerbi said.
Bergvall is also set for a spell out after hurting his knee during the draw with Manchester United.
“Lucas Bergvall, because he had a problem at the beginning of the game in Manchester in the first chance we created with Solanke, when he regained the ball, his knee, he felt pain,” De Zerbi said.
“He finished the game but the day after he came to the training ground with our medical staff and I think two weeks [to recover].
“I don’t know exactly, but some weeks for sure.”

There was better news on Kulusevski, who has been cleared to return for the first time in around a year-and-a-half and is expected to be on the bench.
“Yes. Kulusevski on the bench,” De Zerbi said.
“We had a meeting with the medical staff and they gave the okay and it’s great news.
“I think it’s one of the best news, after the Everton game last season because Deki has suffered too much.
“He deserves to feel emotion on the pitch.”
De Zerbi also offered an update on Pedro Porro, who is closing in on a return.
“Pedro Porro I think is coming,” he said.
“Maybe against Chelsea he can play.”
