Packers' Micah Parsons won't return to practice this week
· Yahoo Sports
The return of Micah Parsons to the practice field will have to wait at least another week, and maybe more. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Green Bay Packers are not expecting Parsons to practice this week, although there is still hope he will be cleared to practice at some point this month.
During the offseason, Parsons said returning to face the Dallas Cowboys in Week 6 would be something like a best-case scenario. Instead, he will miss his sixth straight game to start the 2026 season while on the PUP list, and pushing out his return to practice another week means he is unlikely to play until Week 8 or 9 at the earliest -- assuming he needs at least one or two weeks of legitimate practice to ramp up before playing in a real game.

Parsons hasn't played or practiced since tearing his ACL and suffering meniscus damage during a loss to the Denver Broncos on Dec. 14 of last year.
After playing the Cowboys on "Sunday Night Football" in Week 6, the Packers will go on the road to play the Detroit Lions in Week 7 and then have a short week before hosting the Carolina Panthers on "Thursday Night Football" to open Week 8. It's becoming more and more likely that Parsons isn't playing for the Packers until Week 9 against the New England Patriots on Sunday, Nov. 8.
