The Packers got off to a strong start against the Bears on Sunday when Jordan Love connected with Christian Watson for a 42-yard touchdown in the first quarter in front of their home fans.
The scoring play came on a play-action pass, with Watson getting behind the Chicago defense for the big gain. Love delivered the ball in a perfect spot, and Watson finished the play in the end zone to give Green Bay an early 7-0 lead with 5:51 remaining in the opening quarter. Here is the video:

The touchdown capped off an impressive 10-play, 91-yard drive by the Packers, their longest scoring drive to open a game this season. Green Bay’s offense mixed in runs from MarShawn Lloyd, a screen to Tucker Kraft and a completion to Matthew Golden before Love found Watson for the finishing blow.
Watson’s big-play ability gives the Packers another dangerous weapon in the passing game, particularly when Love has time to let routes develop downfield. The connection was an encouraging early sign for Green Bay in a rivalry matchup where every possession matters.
Green Bay will look to build on that early momentum as they try to take control against their NFC North rivals.
