The Green Bay Packers have not had the kind of season worth being overly excited about so far, but they are 2-2 on the year, and there is some reason for optimism with Micah Parsons poised for a return sometime in the near future.

But the offensive side of the ball is still a question mark. The offensive line has struggled, and the run game has been horrible. That's put more pressure on Jordan Love and the passing game to function at a high level. So far, it's been a solid effort.
When it comes to tight end Tucker Kraft, his underwhelming performance so far is something Kraft's aware of. ESPN's Rob Demovsky revealed that Kraft is planning to "get back to my roots," starting in Week 5 vs. the Chicago Bears.
Tucker Kraft shares how he plans to 'get back to my roots'
"Statistically, it might not look like I'm playing better. Some could even say that I might've lost my stinger," Kraft said. "This week, try to get back to my roots, the kind of s--- I was on my first and second year when I was playing to the echo of the whistle and being hard on the defense."
Kraft is well aware that his 2026 season so far hasn't been up to expectations. While he's only four weeks back from his mid-season ACL tear in 2025, Kraft still expects to be better than he has been so far.
Through the first four weeks of the season, Kraft has had a drop issue and has only caught one touchdown to go with 15 receptions for 148 yards.

Those aren't horrible numbers for Kraft, but for someone who just signed a deal upwards of $90 million before the season, one would expect his production to be a lot better than it has been.
Green Bay's poor offensive line has played a role in Kraft's lackluster start to the season so far. But even with this underwhelming beginning to the year, Packers fans should not be giving up on Kraft anytime soon.
He's coming off an ACL tear last season and is still one of the NFL's most dynamic tight ends. His upside is incredible, and with the Packers likely needing to pass the ball a lot this season, Kraft could be in store for a huge year even with a slow start.
Kraft is well aware of his shortcomings to begin the season, and he's looking to try to get back to his roots to fix his mistakes and play like the superstar tight end he knows he can be.
