Adani Electricity Offers Temporary Connections for Navratri and Durga Puja Pandals

In preparation for the festive season, Adani Electricity has simplified the process for Navratri and Durga Puja organizers to obtain temporary electricity connections for their pandals. Reinforcing its commitment to safety, reliability and customer convenience, the utility is ensuring the release of temporary connections within 48 hours of receiving complete applications.

During the recent Ganesh festival, Adani Electricity provided approximately 1,100 temporary connections to Ganpati pandals and installed over 2,792 floodlights across 149 Ganesh idol immersion locations in 22 BMC wards, helping ensure a safe and seamless experience for devotees.

Organisers can apply online for a temporary electricity connection by visiting www.adanielectricity.com and selecting the ‘New Connection’ section for temporary supply.

Speaking on the initiative, an Adani Electricity spokesperson said,"Mumbai is gearing up to celebrate Navratri and Durga Puja with great enthusiasm. We understand the importance of uninterrupted power during these celebrations and remain committed to providing safe and reliable electricity supply. To enhance safety for devotees, we have installed nearly 850 floodlights at various Navratri and Durga Puja pandals. This year, we have further strengthened our operations to ensure faster connection releases and uninterrupted power supply throughout the festive period."

Last year, Adani Electricity successfully provided continuous electricity supply to over 653 Navratri and Durga Puja pandals across its distribution network.

To further strengthen safety and responsiveness during the celebrations, Adani Electricity has deployed dedicated Quick Response Teams (QRTs) backed by a robust restoration plan to address any unforeseen disruptions.

Adani Electricity urges all pandal organizers to adhere to the following safety measures:

Engage only Licensed Electrical Contractors for electrical installations and wiring.

Ensure the installation of Residual Current Circuit Breakers (RCCBs) to safeguard devotees, volunteers and staff from electrical hazards.

Use only standard electrical materials and equipment that comply with safety norms.

Avoid unauthorized power connections and electrical overloading.
