Texas A&M softball commit Emma Johnson continues to show why she is considered one of the top power hitters in the 2028 recruiting class.

Johnson hit .500 with four home runs, one double and seven RBIs while competing with Lady Magic Muñoz 18U at the 2026 Goodwill Games in Stockton, California. She scored six runs and drew three walks as her team finished the weekend 4-1.

Her biggest performance came Friday in a 10-2 win. Johnson went 2-for-2 with two home runs, five RBIs, two runs and one walk. She added another home run during an 11-8 win Saturday and hit her fourth in Sunday’s 10-9 loss to OC Batbusters-Stith.

Johnson finished the five-game tournament with a .600 on-base percentage, a 1.583 slugging percentage and a 2.183 OPS. She shared video of all four home runs on social media.

The performance continued an impressive stretch for the Del Oro High School standout. Johnson hit .447 with 13 home runs, 10 doubles and 35 RBIs during her sophomore season. She also posted a 1.640 OPS while drawing 24 walks and striking out only 11 times.

Rivals ranks Johnson as the No. 7 overall prospect and No. 1 catcher in the 2028 recruiting class. She verbally committed to Texas A&M in September, becoming the first member of head coach Trisha Ford’s 2028 class.

Johnson still has two high school seasons remaining before joining the Aggies. Hitting four home runs against strong competition at the Goodwill Games provided another example of the power she could eventually bring to Texas A&M’s lineup.
