Houston visits Indianapolis with Noel 71st among wide receivers in PFN’s Week 3 rankings, and the 20-6 loss to the Bengals told the story. He was responsible for one of CJ Stroud’s 30 completions and posted a 10% target share with Nico Collins on the shelf, while Xavier Hutchinson and Jared Wayne out-earned him with relative ease in a chaotic rotation. All three of his catches this season have gained 15-plus yards, and those spikes are fun, but the quantity is far too low. If you’re getting cute on the back end of a roster, do it on an offense with projectable upside.

If you’re going to get cute on the back end of your roster, do me a favor and do it with a player on an offense with projectable upside. The Texans hung 31 points on the Bills in Week 1, and last week proved that result was more an indicator on the Buffalo defense than the Houston offense.
