Panthers LB Devin Lloyd to miss Browns game with leg injury

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (CAROLINA SPORTS LIVE) -- Panthers linebacker Devin Lloyd will miss Sunday's game against the Browns coming off of a career game last week.

The team reported Friday that the first-year Panther is among three players ruled out for Sunday's game in Cleveland. He suffered a calf injury, while Claudin Cherelus (shoulder), and safety Nick Scott (rib), also are out after not practicing this week.
Wide receivers Jalen Coker (ankle) and Xavier Legette (knee) were listed as questionable after they were limited participants in practice. Both were held out of practice Thursday.
Otherwise, everyone else on the report was a full participant on Friday.
In Lloyd's second game with Carolina, he intercepted two Falcons passes, returning one for a touchdown, resulting in being named NFC Defensive Player of the Week. It was his second time earning the honor.
