Draymond Green decided to introduce a fun episode on his podcast by finding the NFL comparisons of NBA players.
After giving Steph Curry and Anthony Edwards as Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson as their NFL comp, the four-time champion shared Giannis Antetokounmpo’s NFL comparison as Defensive end Myles Garrett.

The reigning Defensive Player of the Year was voted the top player in the NFL by his peers, which indicates how brilliant he is.
Antetokounmpo, on the other hand, is one of the most consistent players in the NBA, and is always going to be a threat that NBA teams will find difficult to manage. Garrett is quite similar and this is one of the reasons Green picked the Rams player as Giannis’ NFL comparison.
“There is no other player in the NBA that I think that has the power, force and skill that Myles Garrett has over Giannis Antetokounmpo, which is why he is a couple of time MVP, Defensive Player of the Year,” said Green on The Draymond Green show.
“There is not another guy in the NBA that you can compare to Myles Garrett, has to be Giannis Antetokounmpo.”
It was only a few days ago that Green had come to the rescue of Antetokounmpo after Channing Frye had made a ‘7-foot running back’ remark about the Greek Freak.
He slammed the 2016 NBA champion for disrespecting a legend like Giannis.
The two-time MVP is set to play for the Miami Heat next season, while his NFL comparison according to Green represents the LA Rams.
Garrett suffered an injury blow after just one game into the season. Antetokounmpo hopes to start the season on a high note, as all eyes will be on him once again as he moves to a contending team in the Eastern Conference.
