York Regional Police say a person riding an e-scooter vandalized four bus shelters in an overnight crime spree in Vaughan.
Cops said officers were called early Thursday morning to the Bathurst St.-Clark Ave. following reports of damaged bus shelters.
Investigators later determined that at around 12:30 a.m., a person riding a yellow e-scooter damaged four bus shelters in the area.

Stolen vehicle recovered near Hastings, teen charged
A Quebec teen is facing several charges after he was allegedly caught driving a stolen vehicle in Northumberland County on Wednesday.
Ontario Provincial Police said an in-cruiser Automated License Plate Recognition (ALPR) system alerted an officer to a stolen vehicle near the village of Hastings.
The vehicle was spotted by an officer on patrol on County Road 35 at around 2:15 p.m., InQuinte.ca reported.
According to the news site, the vehicle was reported stolen in Niagara Region earlier this week, and was found abandoned in Hastings.
The teen was located not far from the area and is facing several charges, including possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, dangerous operation, and flight from a peace officer.
Waterloo cops investigating break-and-enter
Waterloo police are appealing to the public for information after an unknown number of suspects allegedly broke into a home on Wednesday night.
Police said the suspects targeted a home in the Clair Creek Blvd.-Bushwood Ct. area and gained entry through the rear of the residence.
Investigators are asking residents and motorists in the area who may have dashcamera, security camera, or other video footage to review their recordings and provide any relevant footage.
They’re specifically seeking footage taken between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. on the night of the incident in the area.
Police said it’s noticing a trend of residential break-and-enters where suspects target homes backing onto greenspaces, trails, parks, and wooded areas.
