It is hard to have a better day on a golf course than the one Hank Brown had on Thursday.

Brown hit a hole in one on the first hole, eagled the seventh hole and shot a 34 for medalist honors.
His big day led to Monomoy (2-2) beating Sturgis West (3-2), 254-256, at Bayberry Hills.
Cam Reeves (42), Brodie LaValley (42), Carter O'Leary (45), Cam Thatcher (44) and Tommy Carey (47) also factored in the scoring for Monomoy.
Alex Saunders (40), Cooper Stephens (40), Valencia Ferretti (45), JP Ferretti (44), Milo Allison (45) and Jayden Lyonnais (42) played well for Sturgis West.

Sandwich 256, Martha’s Vineyard 260: The Blue Knights (4-1) handed the Vineyarders (4-1) their first loss at Sandwich Hollows Golf Club.
For Sandwich, Blaise Chatigney (41), Bradley Moesman (40), Anderson Lauf (43), Cam Howell (43), Sam Konary (42) and Owen Labell (47) carded strong scores.
For Martha's Vineyard, Jacoby Light (41), Macallan Moran (42), Shane Harding (42), Chandler Blau (41), Gusto Martone (43) and Peter Williamson (48) shot well.
Boys Soccer
Upper Cape 1, Blue Hills 0: The Rams (1-1-1) slipped by Blue Hills as senior captain Sam Reynolds had a clean sheet. Sophomore Charlie Fernandes scored an unassisted goal in the second half. Bryce Barton, Sean Stanton and Noah McLean played well defensively. Sophomore Ben Beal also had a strong performance.
St. John Paul II 8, Rising Tide 0: The Lions (3-0-1) broke out on offense with a win over Rising Tide. Eli Bassil recorded his second hat trick of the season. Quinn Dillon, Migy Armaczuk, Max DePaula, Isaiah Stacey and Grady Jumper also scored for the Lions. Parker Philbrick had two assists. Max Boggdan, Dillon, Diego Coelho and Ben Franco played well defensively. Goalie JD Kupfer recorded his second shutout of the season.
