Texas A&M volleyball unveils national championship rings

Texas A&M’s historic 2025 volleyball season produced another lasting reminder as the Aggies received their national championship rings.

The ring ceremony took place on Sept. 12, with a majority of the 2025 championship team and their families in attendance. The players’ reaction to the unveiling created a picture-perfect moment. You could see the shock on their faces as they took in the size and design of the rings for the first time. From there, it was all smiles as the Aggies posed with the jewelry they earned during the greatest season in program history.

Texas A&M volleyball coach Jamie Morrison is working to turn the Aggies into one of the premier programs in the country. He took a massive step toward that goal last season by leading A&M to its first national championship. The Aggies finished 29-4 and completed their historic postseason run by sweeping No. 1 Kentucky in the national championship match in Kansas City.

With the championship banner already hanging inside Reed Arena after being raised during the home opener against Cal Poly, the ring ceremony served as the latest major celebration of last season’s accomplishment.

Now, the Aggies have turned their attention toward a new challenge. The 2026 team features several new faces trying to build their own identity, learn Morrison’s system and navigate one of the toughest nonconference schedules in the country. Early results have been uneven, but a win over No. 4 Stanford showed this group can still compete with the nation’s best teams.

There will be some bumps and bruises throughout the process, but Morrison has already proved what can happen when his players buy into what he is teaching. Last season’s championship now has the banner and rings to match, while this year’s team begins working toward creating its own legacy.
