The Green Bay Packers are not going to field anywhere near the NFL’s best offensive line this season even if the unit receives tremendous injury luck, and that doesn’t appear to be the case via the latest news emerging from the franchise.
Head coach Matt LaFleur spoke with reporters on Monday, September 7 and offered a two-word response as to the statuses of starting right tackle Zach Bako-Bewele (formerly Zach Tom), who is among the best players at his position league-wide, and presumptive starting left guard Aaron Banks.

“We’ll see,” LaFleur said on whether either of the two will play in Week 1, per Zach Kruse of USA Today’s Packers Wire.
Bako-Bewele had knee surgery during the offseason, issues from which continue to linger and cost him time with the team across the weeks leading up to the season opener against the Minnesota Vikings at U.S. Bank Stadium on Sunday. Meanwhile, Banks is battling knee tendonitis.
