Bradley Barcola was signed for £123m from Paris Saint-Germain - with the French international’s arrival confirmed on Monday afternoon.

Meanwhile the 2024/25 Premier League champions are also signing Djylian N'Guessan.

The 18-year-old French forward scored 23 goals in 25 games for France's youth national teams at U17 and U16 level and he has broken records at Saint Etienne during his time at the club.

We can also expect Lucca Brughmans to seal his £30m deal from Genk with the 18-year-old goalkeeper set for a 2027 first-team arrival.

Stefan Bajcetic moving to Celta Vigo

Outgoings will also be tied up. Harvey Elliott is joining Valencia on loan with it now being claimed that the midfielder has got - in fact - another two years on his Liverpool contract rather than one.

Another midfielder - Stefan Bajcetic - has jetted out to Galicia having completed a deal to rejoin Celta Vigo.

The 21-year-old was signed in 2021 from Celta by Jurgen Klopp - making a quick breakthrough to the first team. But the Spaniard’s time at Anfield has been plagued by injuries and he is without a senior Liverpool appearance in over two years.

Bajcetic jets out: Spotted in Spain

With his contract ticking down - expiring in 2027 - a decision had to be taken by Richard Hughes over the deep-lying playmaker’s future.

Spanish sources are claiming that Celta are re-signing Bajcetic for FREE - with the fee being made up by a sell-on clause and other bonuses at a further date.

Liverpool media on the other hand states that Bajcetic is set to be sold for a small fee. Either way the deal to take Bajcetic back to Galicia has been announced.

Bajcetic returns to boyhood club

A video posted by Tenías Que Haber Tirado shows the former teenage star having arrived back at the Sede do Real Club Celta de Vigo headquarters ahead of the deal being officially called.

It’s been so long since he played that Celta are initially registering the Spain under-21 international with their reserve side - Celta Fortuna. Given his age Bajcetic will also be eligible to play for the senior team once his fitness is proven.

It’s a real shame that things haven’t worked out for Baj at Anfield; let’s hope it works out for him in La Liga and he can get his career back on track.
