STOCKBRIDGE — Senior Braydin Johnson had five touchdowns — all in the opening half — and added a field goal for the Blackhawks in their season-opening rivalry victory over Stockbridge. The win was the eighth straight for Leslie over Stockbridge. Senior Joel Cranmore had TD passes of 76, 26, 80, 28 and 36 yards and added a rushing score for the Blackhawks
PEWAMO-WESTPHALIA 17, NORTH MUSKEGON 9
WESTPHALIA — Quarterback Luke Nurenberg had 68 yards passing, 50 yards rushing and a touchdown to help lead the Pirates to a season-opening home victory over North Muskegon. Alex Nurenberg ran for a team-best 68 yards rushing and a touchdown, Ethan Platte and Tyler Huhn each had an interception and Kevin Hafner hit a 35-yard field goal for Pewamo-Westphalia.

Braden Reed threw for 219 yards and a touchdown and added a rushing score for the Trojans in their loss to Pinkney. Colten Pepin had six catches for 93 yards and a touchdown and Talon Newell added a rushing score for Owosso
