The Kansas City Chiefs saw rookie defensive back Mansoor Delane log an early tackle for loss in his debut against the Seattle Seahawks at Arrowhead Stadium in Week 3 of the 2026 NFL preseason.
Delane, who joined the Chiefs as the No. 6 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, is expected to be a top contributor to Kansas City's newly rebuilt defensive backfield this season and wasted no time getting involved against the Seahawks.

His clutch tackle for loss came on Seattle's opening possession and helped the Chiefs stymie the Seahawks' starters early in the game's first quarter.

Few rookies will enter the 2026 regular season with higher expectations than Delane, but if the results he has achieved in the preseason are any indication, the former LSU Tiger will have no problem producing in his first season under defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo.
