A Colorado State football recruit has gone viral for a touchdown in a game that didn't count.

Kentorion King posted clip of a touchdown reception on X on the night of Aug. 23.

In the clip King catches a screen pass at his own 30 yard line. He breaks a couple of arm tackles before racing the final 60-plus yards untouched past several defenders.

As of about 9 p.m. Mountain Aug. 24 King's original post had 2.6 million views.

It was shared by several prominent social media accounts, including Dov Kleiman (more than 400,000 followers on X), who said King looked like Tyreek Hill on the field. Rivals, the recruiting site, shared the clip to its nearly 400,000 followers.

The TD came in a scrimmage for King and his Waxahachie team. Waxahachie High School (Texas) starts its regular season Aug. 28.

So, who is Kentorion King?

He's a 6-foot athlete from Texas, who is heading into his senior year. King is a track star in addition to a football star. He's run a 4.4-second 40-yard dash.

King played in five games in 2025 as a junior at Midlothian High School before a season-ending elbow injury. He had 13 catches for 212 yards and 38 rushes for 369 yards and four touchdowns on 9.7 yards per carry.

King is rated as a three-star recruit by 247Sports on On3/Rivals and is part of the 2027 recruiting class.

King has reported offers from Purdue, Utah, Wake Forest, Tulane, San Diego State, Texas State and numerous others.

He committed to Colorado State on July 7, 2026, less than a month after an official visit to CSU. He also went on official visits to Purdue, Tulane and North Texas.
