Hononegah used strong first half to knock off Belvidere

BELVIDERE, Ill. (WTVO/WQRF) — Boylan transfer Dominic Cacciatore made a good first impression suiting up for the Hononegah Indians Friday night. He had two touchdown passes and one touchdown run in Hononegah's 28-13 win at Belvidere.
Cacciatore completed 13 of 19 passes for 138 yards. His touchdown passes were caught by Ryan Fritsch and Greg Smith. Brody Sendele rushed for a touchdown for the Indians.
Belvidere had a super outing by running back Nic Alvarez. He carried the ball 16 times for 118 yards. He also hauled in 5 passes for 129 yards and one touchdown.
