Wednesday's girls soccer results: Abby Alden leads Hoban to 3-1 win
- Archbishop Hoban 3, Canfield 1: Abby Alden scored twice and assisted on Hoban's other score to lead the Knights. Alden opened the scoring in the fifth minute with an assist by Brooklynn Hampton. Lina McCarthy then assisted Alden on Hoban's final goal in the 78th minute. Alden was credited with an assist on Kate Wiedt's goal in the 17th minute.
Wednesday's tennis results: Walsh Jesuit wins OTCA match
- Walsh Jesuit 4, Perry 1: Zemira Gardner and Maddy Root each won their singles matches in straight sets to lead the Warriors to a win in Ohio Tennis Coaches Association State Team Tournament. Makenzie Fearon won her No. 1 singles match for Perry to improve to 4-0.
- Norton 5, Louisville 0: Junior Ava Brooks won her No. 1 singles match 6-2, 6-0 to lead the Panthers to its first match victory of the year.
