The Savannah Bananas have sold out stadiums across the country as their popularity spreads, and now they're heading to Washington DC for the first ever Banana Bowl.

The Bananas announced Tuesday that Nationals Park will host the winner-take-all championship game of the Banana Ball Championship League on Oct. 10.
"Now, for America's 250th Anniversary, we are bringing all of Banana Nation together, for the first time in our nation's capital," the organization said.
After years of touring the country with exhibition games, the Savannah Bananas launched the Banana Ball Championship League this year, turning their unique brand of baseball into a six-team professional league.
In addition to the Savannah Bananas, the league includes the Party Animals, the Firefighters, the Texas Tailgaters, the Loco Beach Coconuts and the Indianapolis Clowns.
The top four teams in the league standings will compete in playoffs a week before the Banana Bowl. The winning teams will embark on the nation's capital for the Oct. 10 championship game.
How can you watch the Banana Bowl in Washington DC?
Fans interested in attending the Banana Bowl can sign up for the lottery at https://www.bananabowl26.fansfirsttickets.com. You must be at least 16 years old to enter.
Entries will be open until Aug. 23.
It's unclear how much tickets will cost to the Banana Bowl, but because of the league's mass appeal, tickets will likely sell out. The Bananas previously sold out two nights at Nationals Park in 2025.
Nationals Park has a max capacity of 41,373.
If you can't secure tickets, the game will be streamed on YouTube and on Disney+.
