"They're as good as I've been around, especially when you talk about a trio of freshmen," Baker said. "We've thrown more install at this group than I ever have in my career and those guys are repping with the ones and the twos, so they're getting the full install."

The Tigers had depth issues along the defensive line last year and may face the same in 2026. They have experience on the edge with transfers Princewill Umanmielen and Jordan Ross but a renewed focus on generating a consistent pass rush relies on consistent pressure applied from the tackle position.

Baker admitted the trio of true freshmen is battling "growing pains" as they get up to SEC speed. He and head coach Lane Kiffin continue to remain confident in Brown, Anderson and Geralds, even saying they'll play critical snaps as part of the rotation.

"We're going to have to fight through the freshman wall at some point," Baker said. "I think all three of them are doing a good job fighting it right now, but I am proud of where they're at now and where they've come from. They work at it. They all love football. They've got really, really bright futures, but you'll see all three of those guys on the field."
